Said he basically ran business while Humble and Finlay spent their time on Corporate matters. Said integration of Acqs 80% complete.
Growth would necesarily be lumpy which ( my words) likely explains missing expectations.
Said communication with holders on growth strategies not up to scratch. My words again - can't help but think this was deliberate strategy at the time.
Is bullish on the business and industry.
Would 'love' a permanent go at the job.
Article said likely best outcome for all is a higher Bains bid or another party bid.
You get the feel that Anceschi is quietly hoping bids fail so he can get the chance to steer the ship permanently.
The article said major holders supported the Boards strategy.
Its all wait and see - my words.
May see some buying today - at least early anyway.
