According to the AFR the preliminary report is due 15th Aug.
Will be interesting to see how close to the upper end of estinates they can get.
Outlook will be very important.
In early July the Acting CEO said acquisitions integration was 80% complete. Also said growth would be lumpy. Hope that was not an excuse for an ordinary report! !!!
Still if the major holders and the Board truly believe a $6.60 offer is under value then it had better be a darn good report in terms of current performance and outlook..
The Acting CEO also said other major retailers would be looked at once the Coles 12 month exclusive period ends.
