The other way to look at it - MEL is currently trading below asset value (circa 4.7c just in the BYE investment). Which means that on current valuation MAY are not only not offering any premium, but are offering below asset value. I can't see why anyone would chose to vote for the merger unless beehive goes ahead and vastly improves the MAY sp. Until then a rational person simply couldn't be for it.
