    Ron,

    On SMI 6 #2 they tried unsuccessfully for about 3 days to free stuck DP (to avoid loss of gear and expense of side track).

    If they can't free it they'll do a back-off of the DP just above the stuck section. Failing that they can always cut it off above stuck section.
