For me it was driven by a decision to exit pure explorer stocks after being in 88E for a long long time with no return, wanted to stick to oil as my own career background is in oil, then made a list of qualities that I was looking for which included -
smaller producer
in a country with low sovereign risk
good management
that communicate well with shareholders
undervalued
production projects coming on line
BYE fitted that list well.
