Long term I think you will probably be ok holding Newcrest. Short term I honestly believe this is a good short. The longer the uncertainty goes with their cash cow asset the more people will put this in the too hard basket. If inflation comes in on the hot side in the US tonight this could be a double whammy for Newcrest...
