Surely you jest in regard to your remarks concerning Perth? Are you completely bonkers!!!

Approximately 60% of the massive mining revenue generated from Australia is derived from Western Australia (WA), with companies headquartered or with a major presence based in Perth.

If there is one place on the planet to be based it is actually Perth. Two of the largest energy (gas) projects (eg Chevron) in the world are in W.A. Humongous quantities of high grade iron ore is mined in W.A through BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto and Fortescue. Massive gold mines, nickel, rare earth companies eg Iluka, Kimberley diamonds, coal mining, huge bauxite operations via Alcoa, the list goes on and on.

By the way, where is the largest lithium (hard rock) mining operation in the world?- Greenbushes (south of Perth) in W.A

Now Judy; you are an extreme pessimist, but surely even you will admit that your comments concerning Perth were rather intemperate? Having a company based in Perth is a very positive sign. Why? Because, if there is one place you want to based and you are a miner, it would be Perth.

Now Judy; are there small fry companies being established in Perth that go nowhere or are used for less than honourable intentions to capitalise on perceived market situations? Of course there are. Nonetheless; a Perth based company is on the whole a very positive development and it makes great sense.
