Ann: Calculation of Scrip Consideration and Cash Consideration, page-2

I can't understand the SP going up to $1.66 after this announcement. The guaranteed redemption value is just $1.61 (including Franking Credits on the dividend). Why would someone want to pay $1.66 and wait to get paid a lesser amount in a number of weeks.

Have I missed something?

(I sold out last week, thinking $1.59 was a good price now, compared to a similar amount down the track.)
