Have a look at the lithium market as an example, the best producers (eg Pilbara) are the most shorted stocks. The junior explorers' SP aren't going anywhere. Those like Liontown can't get funding for their projects. Now what value will be there for a junior explorer with the current sentiment? Unless you somehow get lucky and find a massive deposit like Azure which is one of a kind. The rest of the juniors have gone nowhere in the past year or two. Now that is not downramping? it is a genuine concern considering the market condition as a whole. I did not criticise this stock, I asked whether there's a point looking for nickel when the sentiment is so negative, but hey at least I'm giving it a shot!!
