You are kidding right - 80mt of cover is more than acceptable for an open pit operation....

The mine site I am currently at has grades far below what AZY have just shown us and we dug 180 mt of cover off for 18 months before we uncovered the ore.

I realise they have to do some infill drilling to sure up the resource, which will come in due course courtesy of RIO and once this is done, if it is deemed as a goer then I am sure a plan will be put in place to Stage the project so as to hit the ore and start making some coin. 80 mt of cover could be removed utilising a fleet of 2 x 600 - 700 t diggers and 15 x 250 tonne trucks in about 6 - 8 months, which is no problem whatsoever, if the orebody is big enough and they have the coin to get started.

I am going to assume that if this resource is proved up and mineable, that it will be done by RIO and not AZY and last time I checked RIO had a few dollars in the bank....
