You posted this on the chart thread as well but this is old news. the case was resolved mid last year. The main problem was the terrible drafting by the patent attorney creating a conflict in the claims. It should have been picked up by the Patent examiner in the first instance but they are not always knowledgeable enough to know.

The case has not stopped Calix improving their water business margin or sales and opening up additional production capacity for Actimag. The ability to process MgO consistently means the product quality is first class. Slaking is not the defining quality step.
