Apart from the additional cost involved in fishing, having to get in a workover rig, specialized personnel etc., there is the possibility of losing the the horizontal section of the hole. A side track of that section would require the drilling rig to be bought back in, and we know how long the mobilisation took last time, if the rig is available.

Pray that they can recover the milling tool, because if they can't there is very little chance of milling through it with another mill.

The RNS said the mill was lost milling the 2nd section, I take that to me the second section from the top ie most of the horizontal section is still behind the bridge plugs. If it was the secound section from the bottom I believe they would have enough open hole to conduct a test, albeit on a reduced section.

The next RNS is the key, if they haven't recovered the fish in a week, we're f*****.
