You've hit the nail on the head gary123.

It's obvious from the many gold announcements, some of which report excellent grades, that they know there's a hell of a lot of high grade near surface gold, but they can't quantify it at the moment. They still have a considerable area of highly prospective ground which they haven't yet had chance to explore. (And it's a similar story for the uranium, and probably for the REEs).

It's looking likely that they will be able to have several years of inexpensive heap leach gold production from the near-surface deposits before getting into the potentially even higher grade deeper deposits.

I agree with other posters who have suggested that MEU need to bite the bullet and start production to fund ongoing exploration, and as soon as all the necessary approvals and licences are in place, I hope that they will move ahead as quickly as possible.

MEU looks to me like a small company on the verge of becoming a much bigger company.
