Yeah agree, feels scatter gun, like seemingly everything these days. Focus should be on putting the building blocks in place to maximise private investment and downstream potential where it makes most sense rather than picking winners.
The SA/WA coordination is interesting definitely worth looking at. WA has the cathode materials and SA the anode. Especially if u focus on the lithium/nickel assets in and around the gold fields. The Pilbara is a bit different I think.
Focus should be on supplying the European market given their material deficit and energy issues.
