you shouldn't get too excited about this cancellation. this is the usual monthly cancellation they have to do as part of their buyback. their previous buyback has been very slow given no dividends were paid over the last 12 months period. However, they are now expected to turbocharge their buyback once the 50% sale of Thiess is approved by the regulator and the cash proceeds start to flow in
