I am not an expert in remote sensing, but every mineral reflects and/or refracts (in this case the sun's radiation) in specific wavelengths. So, I don't don't don't doubt this one iota. There's much online that you can read about this. I would simply hope that by the time the snow has completely melted in mid-June (northern Quebec!), MetalsTech geologists will be on the ground to check out all the red blotches. Here is part of the new MetalsTech image with the boundary of the 14 disputed claims shown. I like what I see.
