Elanco own the compound patent which by all accounts starts expiring in various territories over the next few years.

The Elanco bit NZ is referring to is about 3 years back, Elanco had a first offer option to aquire or royalty arrangement for the canine cancer treatment. PAA in the lead up were very confident...to the point of reposting Elanco propoganda on their twitter in the weeks preceding. Elanco turned down the option...much to the surprise of everyone.

Management downplayed this by saying its a good thing as now all these other interested parties can buy in and Roger could immediately begin the secret discussions. 3 years later we are still trialling and roger is still having super secret discussions....which by the sounds of the latest update are far from any material interest or anything potentially binding. Sounds like Roger has mentioned it to a few vets who kind of shrugged their shoulders and said...yeh maybe come back when you have something worthwhile.

Hence we are trying to prove something worthwhile....still.

Dont be surprised if there is no deal for canines...i get the feeling management are preparing us for this. The commentary today isnt exuding confidence.
