The company has been highlighting the benefits of their facility for the Mildura region, and how they will employ around 150 staff (so big employer in the region etc). This has been mentioned several times…

currently looking at roughly 50 staff to produce 12.5 T.
at full capacity, 150 staff for 70T. As you can see, the numbers get better as we scale up. 3 times more staff, for almost 6 times more product. furthermore, it is because of all the automation systems and tech that they will employ 150 staff to produce that much product. 150 staff for 70T worth of finished product is an outstanding number in my opinion. That’s close to 1 staff member for every half a million grams (of finished product). This tells me it is a very efficient operation and will keep our staff costs down much further than our competitors growing in low tech setups.

several years ago, the company was claiming $1.5 a gram. Around a year ago, it was mentioned by Shane (forget which webinar) that they are looking to produce a gram for $1. The company has been very quiet about their numbers (cogs etc) but I take this lack of disclosure as a positive not a negative.
