I just showed how MNB's sp quadrupled in 2021 to 21c with around the same amount of cash on hand that they have now - and they even did a cr in December for $6mill so the market may have been expecting a cr at that time but neither the upcoming cr, nor the cash balance stopped the sp quadrupling in just four months anyway. They didn't have an impending IDC loan back then either and it didn't even take news of any real significance to quadruple the sp.
Now we have big news events ahead and one poster is still desperately trying to convince others that the sp can't move. It has moved already, from a 7c low to 9.5c in under a month. The cash balance will very likely increase by US$14mill - that's A$21.5mill, from the IDC loan likely to hit the bank balance at any time from around now on. That will ease most investor's minds on cash for some time as the company works on the remaining funding while also beginning construction. There will be plenty of news to come, quite possibly including other non-dilutionary funding, or maybe a cr at some stage - although if that happens, it could be after the sp has doubled or even better again as it did in 2021.
The sp was up five fold in under ten months from 4c and four fold from 5c in under 4 months - despite an upcoming cr for $6mill in December.
