Minbos was not the manager of the project for most of those ten years and the original plan was to export bulk phosphate. That coincided with a very depressed phosphate price which was never going to allow the project to go ahead in that form. Margins would have been to low to hope to fund it as a phosphate rock exporter.
It took a lot of work and years of trials to get to where they are now.
They could have given up on it but Lindsay persisted and they now have progressed the project to construction stage. You see failure but I see successful change of strategy through persistence, dedication and belief. You might have lost faith in him but I applaude Lindsay.
