Call me cynical but I'm expecting the buying to coincide with dates attached to performance based shares/options. I can't see the BOD pumping the price until it works in the BOD's favour... buying too early leaves too much of a risk that the price will fall before the calculation date. I'm not expecting any purchases until after the Embark vote and there may be some timed around the next IPO (I can't remember who is up next).
