Pete has to lodge a Change of Directors Interest Notice if there's any movement. It doesn't make any sense for him to sell into a buyback when he's got the most to gain from a price rise.
They abstain from voting on their own pay rises for obvious reasons.
The whole charade of a shareholder vote is just a waste of time and money. Does anyone seriously believe that any resolution put forward will get defeated?
1% of shares voted against the SPP so we might as well just accept that EBV are managing things now and roll with it.
