Hi Tina, you will have to declare monies gained as CGT as you purchased the shares for less than 16c. See https://www.ato.gov.au/Individuals/Ind/Events-affecting-shareholders/Promina-Group-Limited-(Promina)-return-of-capital/?page=3 for a previous example, there's some info in "How do I treat the capital gain?" section
