not sure what is so much of craz about franking credit.
if company pays $1 worth of dividend without franking then after franking they will be paying 70c but in both the cases your total income decides if you will end-up paying any tax on it or not.
there is absolutely no need for buy-back. sure, if the shares available at 30c then do it but not now, instead increase dividend (unfranked) or pay down debt and have massive cash buffer available to acquire another company for vertical growth.
