This is good news, I like the bit about the team leaving a competitor to join XRG! What gets me is that they are saying to reward existing shareholders but the record date is end of this month. Usually the record date would be before today to reward us existing shareholders. Bit annoyed there. Also important will be whether the directors and CEO take up their entitlement, especially Birkdale Holdings. I'm now a buy, by implication as a participant in the raising.
And this news offsets my disappointment in LPI's announcement today of a low ball offer for its shares by Chilean Govt. At least XRG isn't doing business in South America. And I hope it never will (assuming their police forces aren't interested in de-escalation training but only on crowd suppression).
