Not slanderous at all - your reply is oddly defensive.
IF having a major shareholder as a service provider means you always use that service provider without collecting quotes from others it is quite clearly potentially counter to the interests of the other shareholders. It can also cause other problems, such as the managers on site feeling unable to bring the service providers representatives into line.
IF, however, that service provider agree to provide better value services because of their status as a major shareholder then it is obviously to the benefit of the other shareholders.
