ok, few beers in so here's a left field optimistic take.
it's in Mercer's best interest to keep the SP down to get more value for money on their investment, yeah. so,
what if, Wayne has asked top 10 holders for some cash to announce to mercer via the market - we don't "need" your cash right now, stop selling to manipulate because you'll just loose your own SP profit. this could actually be Wayne flexing.
would be easier to just release more information to the market though, lol
