Regarding financing let us not forget that GJ, subject to FIRB approval, got GBG about US$1.3B for their project from Ansteel.

Before anyone says anything I know the risks in WA are different to the risks in Cameroon and that makes WA a safer bet.

It does indicate that the country is sitting on trillions that it can and will invest in projects of strategic importance. That's not to say there isn't plenty of hoops to jump through prior to getting the go ahead.

I guess it's a wait and see deal.
