MA - I posed a similar question a few weeks back. Not only is BAU half the SP of ABZ it has double the reserves.....

I came to the conclusion that I am satisfied where I am (in ABZ) but will monitor BAU company updates.
Both companies have a unique opportunity if they sensibly expedite production, due to the Indonesia export ban. One factor to consider further is the predicted and foreseeable future bauxite shortages will be as a result of man-made phenomena, not a physical shortage of actual worldwide resource. The situation could change at any time, by the stroke of a pen / change of Indonesian strategy. But while the situation exists, it should be of benefit to nimble new producers.
