    Disagree with that, the lesson should be cutting losses. Doesn't matter how good you are at this game, everyone gets things wrong, those who cut losses early survive to keep playing. Once you're down 75% or whatever that guy is, you need 300% gain just to get back to breakeven. Sitting on big losses like that make it impossible to make money
