I don't know how you got those thumbs up but you are completely wrong. SPPs always have the discretion to close early and frequently do. IVZ is not alone in that. Maybe the IVZ approach wouldn't be fair IF we hadn't been told. However, shareholders have been told in an official asx release so you know what to expect. We will get what they told us we'd get. If you don't pay very early, it is your fault if you miss out, not the company's.
