Let's do the mathematics. If we pay 2c per share now (and get the option) then let's say that CCZ's share price gets to 8c in 12 months, so we exercise the option and pay the 5c for the option share. As a result we paid a total of 7c for 2 shares (ie 2c + 5c = 7c) and the average price per share would be 3.5c (for shares that would be at 8c). On the other hand, if the share price doesn't get above 5c in the next 36 months, then we don't exercise the option, and have paid 2c for a share.
The key point to remember is that CCZ is onto a good prospect and nothing has changed in the last month in terms of that resource. What has changed has been the method by which CCZ has sought to pay for the next round of drilling. Good luck finding the $15,000 amigos, because my piggy bank is busted bigtime.
