    IMO the expectations of the stakeholders (traditional owners) have put upward pressure on costs, and rightfully so as they have ownership of the resource. Evidence of this can be seen in the recently redrafted housing agreement. I wonder how much other agreement redrafting will take place as the project progresses. GPR board will have to tread very carefully through this minefield as the greater success of the project the more stakeholders will expect to gain, and again, rightfully so.
    And yes I agree. Production over the first seven years will probably exceed 100k oz pa underpinned by good exploration results and the potential to increase mill throughput from 2.4 mtpa to 2.8 mtpa, with the addition of a seventh CIL tank. In fact I’ll go one better and say this will probably be achieved consistently throughout the first ten years as, IMO, the exploration upside has been grossly understated.
