So the conundrum is this. Looking at what’s available at auction, any Pty Ltd company not carrying debt is in the best position ever to really benefit from this opportunity to purchase good second hand equipment and increase their rig fleet. From the looks, these aren’t all duds and will ultimately be in direct competition with MSV. Companies that may not have the level of OH&S management systems to operate on a Tire 1 BMA/Rio site, will snap these up.
