As I said when your point "something to base them on" first came up ( https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/63027110/single): "Surely if you have "a geometallurgical model, fully detailed budget, mine design, scope design, scheduled out, and a processing model", then that allows you to rationally project production and costs based on a projected throughput (even if it is a range).". The quotes within quotes were John Lamb's words but I left out the word "beautiful" before geometallurgical.
And I was specifically talking about (https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/63025193/single): "at annualised steady state 900ktpa milling rate:1. Ni in concentrate production,and 2. operating unit costs and sustaining capital unit costs.", not "earnings" or "returns to shareholder" or vague "forward looking projections". Straw man arguments irritate me.
