Seems like a nice person in real life but, apart from lacking industry knowledge, at times on here certainly hasn't displayed the level headed approach required. Wouldn't get the required support by a long shot.
But Dave, single post guy, scruffy muppet, whatever you want to call him, has clearly demonstrated substantial flaws. Substantial enough for him to fall on his sword, yet doubt he could see that even now.
There is another top SH, who has also visited here occasionally, that would be a vastly better fit. IMHO.
