It does come to a matter of trust.
When you play at this end of town you will get done over from time to time, it's just part of the cost of doing business.
If you trust a company to do the right thing, you take these raising in your stride.
If the Company looks after the 'rest of us' by looking after the share price as much as practical, we tend to stick by them and not sell out on the next bit of good news.
If we think we are getting dudded, then we sell on the next bit of good news and the stock will flounder.
Raisings are a momentum breaker to be sure, but if the background is there and this IBG story is good, then it shouldn't stay here long at all.
But if they don't get it moving reasonably quickly, traders will sell out much sooner than they otherwise would and everyone suffers.
