Beg to differ the world isn't built on consumerism ? I believe in most European countries are based on state owned and open free market industries.

Right lets take your last statement. What is the life cycle for a concept car to market ? 5-7 years funnily. So all the EV cars being built will have to use some other type of battery in the cars designed as of tomorrow. That isn't going to happen. Ergo minimum 14years based on the average life cycle of a car.

Look at how long has it taken Elon to refine the EV from his earlier concept cars. Throw a new battery cells and well it's not possible to change and implement a design around a new fuel cell overnight.

So your statement is flawed and has a lot of holes in it. Therefore, Lithium is around for a bit longer than you're forecast. Thankfully we don't have to listen to people with flawed thinking !!
