I emailed Richard about the raise given talk about being funded to decision to mine. Richard confirmed what we already knew: the raise wasn't driven by any immediate need for capital. Though he said that cash might been seen as an issue post PFS as the company spends more on exploration. Part of the strategy is to raise when the market doesn't expect it (which makes sense as we've all seen SP suffer when cash is running low) and to a targeted group of investors. He thinks the raise has reduced dilution risks of future capital raises.
