Agree with the general sentiment here. CN, not really ideal at all. I do understand that they need some funding, but this isn't a cheap way to do it and these CN are heavily in favour of the note holders.

20% in this low interest rate environment? Wheres the risk v reward, because it looks like a lot of reward!

I get timing wise that this was organised before the quarterly, I think strategically this wasn't done well and could've easily been structured a lot better.
