10 bopd is a very disappointing result for Shari Lynn No.1, I wonder if it went too deep.
The target depth for Shari Lynn No.1 was 5,400 feet(1,645metres) announced 9 February 2015 and it came in at 5,621 feet(1,713metres),
a difference of 221 feet.
Compare that to Mahaffey Bishop PU 1 with a target depth of 6,100 feet(1,860 metres) announced 10 October 2014 and it came in at 6,090feet(1,856 metres).
A difference of 10 feet.
I understand these stacked formations are difficult and there is less deposits in areas outside of the sweet spots.
Some people might see the Mississippian Lime acquisition as a way to sugar coat the Capitola announcement and wayward. I think the focus should be on a Breckenridge Lime, Cline Shale good producer as per the Annual Report 2014. GLTA hope it comes good.
