IMO it is damage control ..... why would NXT1 want to give back (as effectively that is what its doing) the areas it picked up when CRB 'voluntarily' surrendered the ground ? because the mining act prohibits the hording of ground under sec 69. so it wouldn't be for this reason .
IMO despite their explanation given as recently as the just released half yearly accounts regarding the dispute with the royalty holders , they have in fact worked out they have a major problem here and are desperately trying to orchestrate a story to try and explain it and restore the asset as best they can to its position prior to the surrender.
i am not sure it actually resolves the royalty problem , but it does provide shareholders with better news for their investment and recaptures ground that should never have been surrendered . i would like to see the agreement though ..... as these guys can not be trusted
