To try to answer my own question: ..how much do they have invested in the Leilac project to date?
Note 11 in the AR has the amount of Non-Current Assets broken down with $13M invested in Leilac. This would not include amounts expenses to P&L. So it is hard to say. They also have $19M allocated to CFC calcinator, which could be partly allocated to other projects as research. Regardless, given that Total Assets (before Liabilities are deducted) at 30 June was $51.6M*, even if all that went to Leilac (which it didn't), they are way ahead on this deal with Carbon Direct (13M euros= about AU$24.18M for about c7% of the project).
*Net Assets were AU$38.1M. Deal looks even better.
Surprisingly, volume is not high - so far.
