They have a bit of work to do still. If they are chasing some kind of high grade core in fresh carbonitite then they just need to keep drilling carbonate plugs. It may be there, somewhere. If they are chasing some higher grade/thicker 'supergene' ore bodies then its also possible they will find something better. Surficial meteoric fluids responsible for the mineralization/enrichment are highly controlled by things like topography/geomorphology, porosity/permeability (faults, fractures, joints, folds, ect), and erosion rates. As the team wrap their head around all this in the coming months and years they will be able to identify more targets no doubt.

Point is, no matter the style of mineralization it is likely highly heterogeneous. You cant just take the results from C3 and write off all the carbonites in Mangaroon. In fact quite the opposite. Finding rare earths in the fresh carbonatite and a weathering profile that concentrates them is very promising. Its like catching a little baby fish on your first cast at a new fishing spot. Sure it sucks its small, but you're darn excited for your next cast because you know they're there!!
