My portfolio is up 17% compounding over the last 2 years. I am trying to beat the Graham Newman fund but I don't pretend I am in their league as an investor.
That's with CDD representing 15% and down 31% including dividends.
Every dog has its day though, all my big winners spend years in the doldrums as the turnaround works through. That's the cost of a value strategy - it only works long term.
