Just watched the video, its interesting that Rio Tinto has gone deep undercover in the Devoncourt area where there is extensive Mesozoic and Cambrian cover over the top of the Proterozoic. They have used a fairly geological model-driven approach and used gravity and magnetics to guide them in drilling for what would be potential large IOCG blind deposits. Obviously, no other companies have been interested in exploring under such deep cover where there is abundant exposed mineralization elsewhere in the Mt Isa and Cloncurry that is under-explored. They are obviously going for an Ernest Henry-type deposit, and are not interested in anything small, complex and high grade. They certainly have some interesting rocks there but not an obvious discovery yet.
