This is an example of what is so wrong with people... in the absence of admitting the environmental cost of the current means of power generation, wave power is seen as expensive to install.
The World took a wrong turn when it deliberately under-priced carbon emissions. In a correctly priced carbon market what we would be seeing is the usual routine of early adoption at a high price and the gradual reduction of the price as the benefits of scale manifest. The iteration of design would happen as a part of that commercial process. Instead, companies like CWE are forced into the position of having to offer 'immaculate conception' to the market....
It's very 'nice' that Greg Hunt slings a million or so to the company ... but it's the soft [and exceedingly weak] option.
