Sorry to sound off on the CWE thread... and certainly this announcement is good for CWE.

But... to answer you directly.... the link you provide states that model relies on "low unit costs associated with mass production". The essence of my complaint is the overall economic environment continues to be hostile to initiatives like CWE. In just the same way that the World has continued to go further into financial debt [by denying there is a fundamental cost of money] we are going into ever deeper debt in environmental terms as well... and the deeper we go the more we seem to deny the debt. Until the politics of carbon are faced squarely and honestly the opportunity to progress to mass production is going to be hindered every step of the way.
