Sankara you have a very good point for reasons of sentiment but what I cannot get my nut around is why the decoupling of gold price vs Aussie gold stocks in general has been going on for more than a few weeks now. This has been the case since gold was in the us$1800 or so. price range. In terms of XAUAUD the past week has seen an outperfomance on many days I've observed, so one cannot complain about that despite a strong Aussie dollar. Unless its the levels of hedging most gold miners have?
