Look at the names of the top security holders of these companies. Opaque holdings of foreign banks. A take over of the Australian gold mining industry by stealth. Pathetic and weak regulators here in Australia. Australian gold companies are just more fodder to prop up the US stock market bubble via foreign ETFs. Remember that if the Fed wasn't now involved in bond ETFs it would be sayonara for the markets and equities prices would all be shattered because the ETF tools were proved to be broken in March until the Fed gave the keys of the kingdom to Blackrock to save its broken business model and markets by pump priming them with trillions of Fed printed dollars.

Now what we have just seen is the power of the banksters to still run the markets as the only thing keeping the US investment banks solvent currently are trading profits. The new wave of robinhood investors found gold and silver ETFs and know nothing about precious metals markets and have fallen for the trick that more seasoned investors in this space have know since 2013. The banks put a big short on COMEX with 20 to 1 leverage which temporarily drives stop losses on COMEX and that selling piggy backs into the spyder physical gold ETF. One derivative product stacked on top of another. Easy peasy lemon "squeaky". But the market for precious metals has changed. Real investors want the gold and silver to hold not trade because rates are going to be at zero/negative levels for years and inflation will eventually come. The irony is that some calling the gold fall last night cited a rise in the PPI, ie rising producer inflation as the cause. Well if that's how stupid the market is it's going to be just too easy to make money out of trading physical gold positions in the next 5 years. Esh
